This section came about as a result of the searching I did for news of
Andy Green's and Craig Breedlove's race to be the first to officially break the sound barrier in a
car, in the fall of 1996. It was one of the most significant events in motorsports, and I was trying to follow the story by using the Web. After looking at
many sites I came up with some of the links here, and then it just grew from there.
The sites linked here that aren't updated often enough will be deleted, and more good automotive and motorcycle news sources are being added as I find them.
The goal here was to have a single place on the Web that provides access to all of the latest news about racing and the automotive industry. Well, I've done
it. Trouble is, you could spend days in here. (But after watching a regular newscast, this looks like a pretty good place to be.)
And now, here are the news.
