Shown here from left to right are Wayne Mahaffey, who built the 1935 Ford phaeton from 1948 to 1950; Wayne's wife,
Fran Mahaffey; Eddie Duhan, who used to drag race the 1939 Ford convertible sedan on nitro, and was driving it
from Oregon to California when he was hit head-on by a drunk driver and nearly died; and Sam Parker, who restored
the car after it sat as a mangled mess for 35 years. The trophies are all from drag racing in the 1950s.
